About Us
ABOUT US
Obaro Best Foundation is an independent private Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), committed to improving the quality of life for disadvantaged Nigerians, by supporting primarily basic health care and educational needs.
The Foundation was established in 2018 by Mr. Isaiah Obaro-Best, A Nigerian successful businessman after seeing what most of the rural dwellers in the riverine communities of the Niger Delta went through during and after the flood of 2012 and 2018.
Founded in 2018, The Obaro-Best Foundation seeks to decrease the social-economic inequalities in Nigeria through community engagement. Inspired by the communities in which Mr. Isaiah Obaro-Best and his wife, Mrs. Sarah Obaro-Best, were born and raised, his six children set out to give back to their home country. After being brought up in an underserved community in the United States, they realized the importance of community engagement and made it a mission to honor their parent’s hard work and support through this foundation.
The OBF is a community-based non-profit organization that aims to provide education scholarships to children and young adults, healthcare education and sponsorship for those in underserved communities.
It takes a village to raise a child, but it takes the people in the community to ensure the prosperity of the village. We ask that you join us in our mission to positively impact the lives of those in need. No gift is too small, and no effort goes unnoticed.
